Not much, but here goes...

Hey everyone,

Last night we had an epic class, sort of -- Andrew Wiseman, Courtney White, and Jared Hoyle were all there to experience their final Sunday class as youth group members. I love you all, including the other graduates who weren't here yesterday. Although you aren't in our class any longer, I am still your minister. Also, we thought one last time (for this summer) on our theme of "Download". I say for this summer because, while it won't be our theme any more next week, we will still refer to it.

I hope you all plan to attend our summer celebration. I'm working hard to make it memorable. Also, there is a lock-in Sunday the 31st.

Love you all. Thanks for reading.

Mission Trip and Summer Retreat

We are eagerly getting ready to leave Sunday morning (july 20) for our mission trip. Please pray.

It's about the time of year when I begin to get excited about our summer retreat. The theme this summer is "Press Play." Hope to see all your names on the sign up sheet soon!

"Download" video and calendar

Hey all,

As you all know, our summer theme is download. I am very pleased that you all seem excited about it -- thanks for liking the shirts and theme and banner and video and skit and everything else. It's an answer to prayer, honestly. It's going to be a great summer.

Here is the video that we showed at the summer kickoff. Enjoy:

And, here is our summer calendar...

I love you all. Thanks for reading.

Hi

I'm looking forward to seeing you all tonight for a great time of spiritual growth and worship.

Things are really falling into place for Friday. The calendars are awesome, and the shirts, and the...

Anyway, I'm really excited to let you all in on our amazing theme here in a couple of short days.

If our youth group had a theme song, what would it be?

Welcome to Summer

Hey everyone,

We had a great pancake wake this morning. Thanks to all who participated. I am extremely excited about our summer. We've already had a great week of Encounter. I never thought I would become a woman three times a day.

I am looking forward to Friday night's summer kickoff, and I hope you all are as well. We will have food, t shirts, summer theme revelation, calendars, and other goodies. You better be there.

Thanks for being a part of what God is doing here. I hope you are ready for a Spirit led summer.

Look for more updates throughout the week.

I love you all.

Finish Strong

I just want to encourage ya'll to finish the school year strong. When I say that I mean more then just do the best you can on your finals and turn in all those last homework assignments. You only have a few more days to be that example and encouragement some people at your school depend on you for and need. If you know in your heart that God is calling you to reach out to someone at your school, I encourage you to do it now. You only have a few weeks left guys. If you do not take the opportunity God has presented you will regret it. Trust me. I spent four years with someone who I believe God put in my life for the sole purpose of me showing her Jesus. God gave me chance after chance to talk to her about Him. It seemed like our conversation always gave me opportunity to bring up God but I never did. We experienced an awful tragedy our Junior year. Even though I was mad at God for what had happened, He showed me how to see the light. He helped me grow and understand. He wanted me to share my peace with my friend but I didn't. She had me to help her but I could have given her God and she could have had His peace. I was scared and ignored His call. What an opportunity God gave me. I let it slip away. I waited 6 years and the day we graduated God figured I did not want to share Him with my friend. He put us on different paths and all my opportunities were gone. I regret that the most about high school. I know I will answer to God about why ignored his job for me. I can only hope that someone else will show my friend the way to Jesus and I will see her again in heaven. But if not, that is on my shoulders. Some of you are graduating and some of you still have several years left but you never know when God will decide to take a perfect chance away. Don't end this school year without making sure you have fulfilled ALL of God's plans for you. You will regret it. Finish strong guys.

Can't wait to spend the summer with ya'll!
